A ceramic rod-shaped specimen from Haldor Tops”e A/S was tested in LK's high power laboratory. Based on U-I characteristics at 50 Hz, considerations were made on pinning, sample data, and measuring improvements. These introductory short circuit tests were performed in February 1989 as a part of the DELRI research project, Superconductor-based current limiter.
