Meshed network relay, LK 601B2500. Relay functioning and laboratory testing

The meshed network relay had to be tested in a high power laboratory. For that purpose, a small meshed network including complete transformer stations was established in LK's high power laboratory. The meshed network relays were tested under these conditions, and a few important corrections were made to the relay software, e.g. immunization against inrush currents in the power transformers, as well as an attempt to a relay tripping characteristic curve in the case of busbar faults.
